Shot taken with my point and shoot. This is Jacob's new thing. When I try to take a picture of him, he says "cheeeeeeeeeezeeeeee" and scrunches his face up. It is so cute. This isn't as scrunchy as normal for the "cheese" face, but it's so adorable! Love that baby!

This is Peyton. He is my baby from another mother! He drives me crazy with his barking, but he is a good dog. So patient with the kids, cuddly, great temperament.

This is Matthew and he is 3 years old. He is such a happy kid. Of course he has his moments, but for the most part, he really is a good boy. That smile and those eyelashes make me melt!

Yes, we still have our tree up. Everything else is down already but we left the tree up because we still have to get a family jammie picture in front of the tree. Anyway, this is me, in the foyer, reflected in an ornament. I do like the slimming effect of that ball! There is also a closer crop of the same shot.

The Beginning

Ok, so I've never blogged before...don't really know where to start. I guess the best place would be with why. Why am I starting a blog now? The main reason is for photography. I want to take at least 1 photo everyday for a whole year. And I know me....I know that if I don't have to put the photos somewhere, I'll never take them. So, here I am! I know it's already January 3rd, but I did already take pics on the 1st and 2nd. The accompanying picture posts will just be a little late! No biggy!

So...without further ado....The First Picture: Some New Year's champagne in front of the fire...Vueve Clicquot...YUM! Unfortunately, it wasn't as romantic as it seems.
